Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows across all departments including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Guest Experience Leadership: Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction by personally addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and anticipating guest needs with proactive solutions.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule staff to foster a positive, high-energy work environment that encourages professional development.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing P&L statements to maximize profitability and control costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and brand standards.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and implement marketing strategies to enhance the hotel's local and regional presence.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in hospitality management, preferably in a hotel setting of similar size and caliber.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading diverse teams and demonstrating strong conflict resolution and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Oracle Opera, StayNTouch) and MS Office suite.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the hotel schedule.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound, quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
