Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Develop and implement staff training programs to elevate service standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement improvement strategies
- Manage departmental budgets and optimize operational efficiency
- Coordinate with vendors and maintain quality control standards
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve escalated service issues
- Collaborate with marketing team on promotional campaigns
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hotel management experience in full-service properties
- Proven track record of exceeding guest satisfaction targets
- Strong leadership skills with team development expertise
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Valid New Mexico hospitality management certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Knowledge of local tourism attractions and cultural events
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
