Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests with speed and precision using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve issues with empathy and efficiency
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and ensure accurate billing
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and local experiences to enhance guest stays
- Maintain security protocols and confidential guest information
- Conduct daily audits and report discrepancies to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera, Fosse, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Texas Food Handler and TABC certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of Austin attractions and transportation
- Professional appearance and polished demeanor
