Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments.
- Supervise front-line staff, conducting daily briefings and performance evaluations.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest service are maintained at all times.
- Handle and resolve complex guest complaints and service recovery issues efficiently.
- Monitor and control operating expenses, including energy, supplies, and linen.
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
- Coordinate with the sales team to manage group reservations and special events.
- Perform regular inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or hospitality certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations or guest services.
- Proven track record in managing staff and leading teams.
- Strong ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
