Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations and ensure smooth check-ins/check-outs.
- Manage and supervise front desk staff, housekeeping, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, security, and emergency protocols.
- Resolve guest complaints and complex issues with a focus on high-conversion service recovery.
- Conduct nightly security rounds and manage cash handling and banking procedures.
- Train new employees on hotel standards, PMS software, and service excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies to maintain optimal stock.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate key updates to upper management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel management or shift leadership.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or StayNTouch.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, shift-based environment.
