Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet guests, check them in and out efficiently, and manage room keys using hotel management software.
- Guest Services: Handle guest inquiries, process wake-up calls, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals.
- Financial Accuracy: Process nightly settlements, balance cash drawers, and prepare bank deposits with strict attention to detail.
- Communication: Answer incoming phone calls professionally and relay messages to appropriate departments.
- Security & Safety: Monitor the premises, secure the building after hours, and respond to any emergency situations following established protocols.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate logs of guest arrivals and departures and update the property management system (PMS).
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous hotel or customer service experience is not required; we train all new hires.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Character: A professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a friendly attitude toward guests and colleagues.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
