Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk operations during assigned shifts, ensuring seamless check-in/check-out processes
- Supervise housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams to maintain property standards
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy
- Coordinate emergency procedures and incident reporting during off-peak hours
- Conduct staff briefings and ensure compliance with brand standards
- Monitor occupancy rates and adjust staffing accordingly
- Prepare shift reports and financial reconciliations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hotel management experience with shift leadership background
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Valid Pennsylvania Food Handler's certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
- Knowledge of Philadelphia tourism and local attractions
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree a plus
