Responsibilities
- Manage 8-12 hour shifts (days, nights, weekends) and coordinate all departmental activities
- Oversee front desk operations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest satisfaction protocols
- Supervise 15-20 staff members including bellhops, housekeepers, and concierge
- Handle guest complaints with professionalism and implement service recovery solutions
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure compliance with safety/security procedures
- Maintain accurate shift logs and generate daily performance reports
- Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel supervisory experience required
- Proven ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking skills
- Proficient in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Valid Texas Food Handler and TABC certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift up to 30 pounds
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Dallas tourism attractions a plus
