Responsibilities
- Supervise front desk operations and manage front-of-house staff during assigned shifts.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for check-in and meet high cleanliness standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy to ensure high satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels for supplies and amenities, placing orders as necessary to prevent stockouts.
- Enforce all hotel policies, safety regulations, and security protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in training new staff members and conducting shift briefings to align the team on daily goals.
- Perform cashier duties, including managing room rates, payments, and balancing the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel management or supervisory role (minimum 1-2 years).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with hotel property management systems (PMS) is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
- Must be available for shift work and on-call rotation.
