Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring flawless guest service
- Manage 10-15 hourly staff across front desk, housekeeping, and concierge departments
- Handle guest escalations and resolve service issues with professionalism
- Coordinate check-in/check-out processes and room assignments
- Conduct shift briefings and maintain operational documentation
- Monitor inventory and supply levels for all departments
- Enforce safety protocols and emergency procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel supervisory experience
- Proven crisis management and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in hotel management software (Opera/PMS)
- Strong knowledge of San Diego tourism landscape
- Valid California Food Handler's Card (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours per shift
