Responsibilities
- Manage 10-15 staff members across multiple departments during assigned shifts
- Resolve guest complaints and elevate service issues to management
- Oversee check-in/check-out procedures and room inventory management
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and performance coaching sessions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and brand safety standards
- Process payroll and schedule adjustments using hotel management software
- Coordinate maintenance requests and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hospitality supervisory experience
- Flexible availability for rotating shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera, Cloudbeds, etc.)
- ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety training
- Strong conflict resolution and multitasking abilities
- Valid Maryland driver's license (if required for property errands)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for 8+ hours
