Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently using hotel management systems while maintaining accurate records
- Handle guest inquiries with exceptional service, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Process payments, manage reservations, and optimize room assignments for maximum occupancy
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and valet teams to ensure seamless operations
- Upsell premium amenities, room upgrades, and local experiences to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols for guest safety and property protection
- Process mail/packages and coordinate special requests for VIP guests
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hospitality/customer service experience preferred
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Strong communication skills in English; Spanish fluency highly valued
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Valid Texas driver's license (if valet duties required)
- Positive attitude with problem-solving mindset
