Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance coordination.
- Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Manage staff scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll to ensure accurate weekly pay processing.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, security measures, and emergency procedures.
- Conduct daily briefings with staff to communicate goals, updates, and operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Assist in training new employees and providing ongoing feedback to current staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or hotel management certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel operations, front desk, or guest services.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is highly desirable.
- Valid California driver's license and access to a vehicle may be required.
