Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service through personalized check-in/check-out processes
- Manage reservations and optimize room assignments using Opera PMS
- Resolve guest inquiries and complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Act as local tourism ambassador, recommending Oakland attractions
- Uphold brand standards through meticulous room inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland tourism and local attractions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
