Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide warm, personalized check-in and check-out services to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued.
- Operations: Manage high-volume front desk operations, including reservations, inquiries, and switchboard duties with precision.
- System Management: Utilize PMS (Property Management Systems) to update guest profiles, process payments, and manage room inventory accurately.
- Concierge Support: Assist guests with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Problem Solving: Address guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating only when necessary to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
- Appearance Standards: Maintain a pristine lobby area and adhere strictly to the hotel's uniform and grooming standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or luxury customer service.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or hospitality certification is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new Property Management Software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, Guestcentrix).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attitude: A positive, proactive, and service-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
