Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized guest check-in/check-out experiences with efficiency and warmth
- Manage reservation systems and optimize room occupancy
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve service issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food service departments
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Upsell hotel amenities and services to enhance guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or hospitality experience
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid New York State Food Handler's certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of NYC tourism attractions and transportation
- Fluency in English; Spanish/Chinese a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
