Responsibilities
- Guest Relations: Provide warm, professional, and welcoming service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and exceeding their expectations.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handle reservations, and assist with inquiries regarding local Oakland attractions and dining.
- Maintenance & Housekeeping Support: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of public areas, guest rooms, and the hotel lobby.
- Event Coordination: Support the setup and breakdown of conference rooms and events, ensuring all equipment is operational and spaces are ready for guests.
- Security & Safety: Monitor hotel premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff, following all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of guest requests, complaints, and feedback to ensure continuous improvement of services.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Professionalism: Ability to maintain a professional appearance and conduct in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
