Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and aesthetic appeal.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in and check-out processes, and provide local recommendations and directions.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with patience, empathy, and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist in housekeeping duties, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Monitor the front desk area and lobby to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and monitor security protocols.
- Collaborate with kitchen and maintenance staff to ensure seamless operational flow and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety and company policies regarding uniform grooming and workplace conduct.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs) for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus.
- A professional appearance and adherence to uniform and grooming standards.
