Responsibilities
- Perform deep cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms and common areas
- Stock amenities and ensure room readiness according to luxury standards
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Report maintenance issues promptly to engineering team
- Adhere strictly to hotel safety and hygiene protocols
- Coordinate with front desk for room status updates
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping experience
- Valid NYC hospitality certification preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 25 lbs
- Detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills
- Strong communication in English (bilingual a plus)
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Background check and health certification required
