Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including stripping beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet luxury standards.
- Restock guest amenities such as toiletries, linens, and coffee supplies to ensure a premium experience.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, such as leaks or broken furniture, and report them immediately to the engineering department.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when entering guest rooms.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
- Ensure the hotel's common areas, such as hallways and lobbies, are presentable and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel maintenance is a strong plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and push heavy carts.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests.
