Responsibilities
- Room Maintenance: Clean and sanitize guest rooms and common areas to the highest industry standards, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Bedding & Linens: Change linens, make beds according to hotel standards, and ensure all amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) are fully stocked.
- Laundry Services: Sort, wash, fold, and iron linens and uniforms, maintaining proper inventory levels.
- Reporting: Immediately report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the Front Desk or Engineering team.
- Sanitation: Adhere strictly to safety and sanitation protocols, including proper chemical handling and disposal.
- Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance, adhere to uniform codes, and interact courteously with guests and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (8+ hours) and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure every corner is spotless and organized.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills to interact with guests and management.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
