Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean guest rooms, suites, and public areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and aesthetics.
- Restocking: Monitor and replenish amenities such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning supplies to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Shift Execution: Efficiently manage assigned cleaning schedules to ensure all rooms are ready for check-in by designated times.
- Inspection: Perform final inspections of rooms to identify and rectify any missed spots or maintenance issues.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, chemical handling guidelines, and health department regulations.
- Communication: Report maintenance issues, lost items, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Organization: Maintain a clutter-free environment in closets, pantries, and work areas.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to follow verbal instructions.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
