Responsibilities
- Guest Room Maintenance: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Bed Making & Linens: Expertly make beds using premium linens and ensure all amenities are stocked and arranged according to brand standards.
- Restock Amenities: Ensure bathrooms and living areas are fully stocked with fresh towels, toiletries, and coffee supplies.
- Sanitation & Safety: Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
- Issue Reporting: promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while greeting guests and responding to their requests.
- Efficiency: Manage time effectively to ensure all assigned rooms are completed within the scheduled timeframe.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel, resort, or upscale hospitality environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in cleanliness.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
