Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing.
- Strip and make beds, ensuring linens are crisp, clean, and perfectly arranged according to luxury standards.
- Restock amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) and replenish guest supplies to ensure a fully stocked room.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, safety hazards, or missing items, and report them immediately to the Housekeeping Manager.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Respond promptly to room service requests and special guest inquiries with a smile and professional demeanor.
- Organize linen closets and storage areas to maintain efficient workflow and inventory control.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar cleaning role is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods (up to 8 hours) with occasional lifting of heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Professional appearance and personal hygiene at all times.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
