Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Strip linens, make beds, dust furniture, and polish surfaces in guest rooms and suites to exacting standards.
- Cleaning Duties: Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean bathrooms to ensure a sanitary and welcoming environment.
- Restocking: Restock mini-bars, replenish toiletries, and ensure amenities are fully stocked.
- Trash Management: Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the hotel.
- Guest Service: Maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor when interacting with guests or fellow staff members.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for cleanliness and organization is essential.
- Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
