Responsibilities
- Ensure all guest rooms, hallways, and public areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Strip and make beds with precision, ensuring linens are crisp, towels are fresh, and amenities are fully replenished.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and polish fixtures to eliminate dust and debris, leaving a spotless appearance.
- Restock amenities (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) and ensure bathrooms are sanitized, odor-free, and visually appealing.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or missing items immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, chemical handling procedures, and company policies.
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor when interacting with guests and fellow team members.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods throughout the shift.
- A keen eye for detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
