Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to a high standard.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities (soap, shampoo, etc.) for guests.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored properly and maintained in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations regarding chemical handling and sanitation.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with guests and fellow employees.
- Follow the specific shift schedule and manage time efficiently to complete all assigned rooms.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is preferred but not required (we offer on-the-job training).
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable transportation to and from work (shift work often requires early mornings or late nights).
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- Basic computer skills for logging work orders or using property management systems.
