As a Night Shift Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests enjoy a spotless, comfortable, and welcoming environment after their busy day. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who value flexibility and want to contribute to a high-quality guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing furniture to meet our premium standards.
- Restocking: Ensure all amenities, toiletries, and linens are fully stocked and replenished in guest rooms and public restrooms.
- Common Areas: Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and restrooms throughout the hotel property.
- Inspection: Conduct final inspections of rooms to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest quality before checkout.
- Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures or leaks, to the maintenance department immediately.
- Security: Adhere to hotel security protocols and report any suspicious activities to the security team or management.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests during the late-night hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts (typically 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM or similar schedules).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods without assistance.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills are required.
