Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for every guest.
- Bed Making: Change bed linens, fluff pillows, and ensure all bedding meets our premium cleanliness standards.
- Amenity Management: Restock guest amenities (soap, shampoo, towels) and ensure rooms are fully stocked with water and snacks.
- Public Area Maintenance: Keep lobbies, hallways, and restrooms spotless and organized throughout your shift.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and report on the usage of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Guest Interaction: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests or other staff members.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies regarding chemical usage and workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 30 lbs) for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure every corner is pristine.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet business demands.
- Training: Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
