Responsibilities
- Maintain Room Standards: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure linens are pressed, bathrooms are spotless, and amenities are restocked according to the hotel's strict guidelines.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests politely and professionally while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the corridors and lobbies.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report on the status of cleaning supplies and amenities to ensure nothing runs low.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards in the rooms to the Housekeeping Manager immediately.
- Efficiency: Adhere to time management schedules to ensure rooms are turned over efficiently without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact politely with guests and colleagues.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
