Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for 15+ guest rooms and public areas
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on sanitation standards and efficiency protocols
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain detailed cleanliness checklists
- Manage inventory control for linens, supplies, and cleaning equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance team for timely repairs and maintenance requests
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC hygiene regulations
- Handle guest requests with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional housekeeping experience in hospitality
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of EPA-approved cleaning chemicals and techniques
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 30 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early shifts
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
