Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for 50+ luxury guest rooms and suites
- Train and mentor 8-10 housekeeping staff in service excellence and safety protocols
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain brand cleanliness standards
- Manage inventory control for cleaning supplies and amenities
- Coordinate with maintenance department for room readiness
- Address guest requests and resolve service issues promptly
- Prepare weekly schedules and payroll documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years hospitality housekeeping experience with supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of EPA-approved cleaning chemicals and techniques
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Valid Michigan driver's license (for supply runs)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency for scheduling systems
- COVID-19 safety certification preferred
