Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Perform daily night audit duties, including balancing cash drawers, reconciling financial reports, and managing the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency, escalating issues when necessary.
- Ensure the security of the hotel property during night hours, monitoring surveillance systems and conducting rounds as required.
- Mentor and train Night Auditors and Front Desk Agents, maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.
- Manage key control procedures and access logs for staff and guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or a related hospitality role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
