Responsibilities
- Perform nightly audits balancing guest accounts, cash transactions, and revenue streams
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours including check-ins/check-outs
- Respond to guest inquiries and emergencies with professionalism and urgency
- Maintain security protocols and monitor property surveillance systems
- Prepare comprehensive shift reports and handover documentation
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for urgent requests
- Process credit card transactions and reconcile daily financial records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or night audit experience required
- Proficiency in Opera hotel management software or equivalent PMS
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong mathematical aptitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexible availability to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans tourism attractions preferred
