Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs and handle payment transactions accurately
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly with professionalism
- Perform nightly reconciliation of accounts and generate financial reports
- Monitor hotel security systems and respond to emergency situations
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for operational readiness
- Maintain detailed logs of guest activities and facility incidents
- Prepare end-of-shift reports for management review
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera/Micros a plus)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic accounting knowledge and cash handling experience
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Valid Maryland driver's license (if required for errands)
