Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins/check-outs and guest inquiries
- Perform daily reconciliation of guest accounts and financial transactions
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for overnight requests
- Prepare end-of-day reports and ensure accurate documentation
- Act as the primary point of contact for overnight guest needs
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or night auditor experience required
- Strong knowledge of PMS systems (Opera/Micros preferred)
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
