Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Oversee check-ins, check-outs, and luggage handling for guests arriving late into the evening.
- Financial Accuracy: Balance daily financial transactions, prepare end-of-day reports, and reconcile the PMS (Property Management System) accurately.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a comfortable environment for all overnight guests.
- Security & Safety: Monitor hotel premises, implement safety protocols, and coordinate with local authorities if necessary.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Communicate with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared for early morning arrivals.
- Administrative Duties: Process wake-up calls, manage mail and messages, and maintain the lobby area.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, front desk operations, or hotel auditing.
- Availability: Must be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to perform data entry and financial reconciliation with high accuracy.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in hospitality or accounting is a plus.
