Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs during overnight hours with efficiency and warmth
- Handle financial transactions including cash handling, credit card processing, and balancing daily reports
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues with discretion and professionalism
- Perform daily system audits and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for overnight operations
- Prepare comprehensive shift handover reports for day staff
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or night shift experience preferred
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to financial details
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
