Are you the calm in the storm? The Grand Portland Hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to oversee our operations during the night shift. As the face of our hotel during the quiet hours, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless stay from dusk until dawn.

Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and luggage assistance for arriving and departing guests.
- Process daily financial transactions, manage the Point of Sale (POS) system, and balance the nightly audit report.
- Monitor hotel security systems and patrol common areas to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and staff.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly, resolving any issues or complaints with a solution-oriented approach.
- Assist in housekeeping coordination and inventory management for the front of house.
- Prepare reports for the day shift management team and communicate any operational updates.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Night Auditor, or in a similar hospitality role is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
