Job Summary:
As the Night Auditor, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our guests during the overnight hours. You will manage front desk operations, handle financial transactions, and ensure the security and safety of the property. This is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between day and night operations, ensuring a seamless experience for every visitor.
Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, ensuring a warm welcome for every guest.
- Perform end-of-shift financial reconciliation, including posting charges, balancing the daily house bank, and generating nightly reports.
- Monitor property security systems and access logs to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Resolve guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests efficiently to maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with day shift management to communicate important guest details and operational needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or night auditing is highly desired.
- Strong proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic accounting knowledge and attention to detail in financial reporting.
