About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced individual to manage the front desk operations from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will act as the primary point of contact for late arrivals, handle critical financial audits, and ensure the security and safety of our property. Responsibilities
- Perform nightly financial audits, including balancing accounts, credit card settlements, and daily revenue reporting.
- Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system and PMS (Property Management System) effectively during off-hours.
- Oversee security protocols, including key card management and facility checks to ensure guest safety.
- Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and concierge requests with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Resolve guest complaints or emergencies immediately and escalate complex issues to the General Manager when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; hospitality or business degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or night auditing.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy in financial tasks.
