Responsibilities
- Perform nightly front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room key generation for late-arriving guests.
- Execute the night audit, balancing all financial transactions, guest folios, and credit card settlements.
- Monitor the hotel security systems and conduct nightly rounds to ensure the safety and security of the property and guests.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests via phone, email, or in-person promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for the next day's arrivals and manage wake-up calls.
- Manage the hotel's PMS (Property Management System) for accurate reporting and data entry.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or night auditing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high-level accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently during the night shift with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
