Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and key card issuance.
- Monitor the property security systems and conduct nightly security rounds to ensure guest safety.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding hotel services and local attractions.
- Process payments accurately and maintain the nightly audit reports in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Assist guests with requests for wake-up calls, room service, and local transportation recommendations.
- Perform light housekeeping duties in the lobby and public areas to maintain a pristine environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or guest incidents to the Night Manager or General Manager immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working a night shift or as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel setting.
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Property Management Systems (PMS) like Opera or similar.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as required.
