Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/checkouts with efficiency and warmth using Opera property management system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and resolve issues promptly during overnight hours
- Monitor security protocols and manage access control for guest safety
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile nightly financial transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for seamless operations
- Prepare end-of-night reports and maintain accurate guest records
- Act as hotel ambassador during emergencies and high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Valid Louisiana hospitality certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans attractions and transportation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 15 lbs
