Responsibilities
- Seamlessly manage guest check-ins/checkouts during overnight hours
- Handle reservation modifications and guest inquiries with professionalism
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Ensure lobby security and monitor property surveillance systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for operational excellence
- Prepare end-of-shift reports and maintain guest preference databases
- Respond to emergency situations with calm, decisive action
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or hospitality experience
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Proficiency with Opera or similar hotel management systems
- Basic knowledge of New Orleans attractions and transportation
- Valid Louisiana hospitality certification preferred
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
