Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or taking detailed messages.
- Handle cash handling, credit card transactions, and verify guest accounts with 100% accuracy.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests and resolve issues during the night shift.
- Monitor security cameras and access control systems to ensure the safety and security of the property and guests.
- Process wake-up calls, mail services, and local recommendations for guests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn hotel management software quickly.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
