Responsibilities
- Check in/out guests efficiently with warm professionalism and accuracy
- Manage reservation systems, room assignments, and key distribution
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy
- Process payments and maintain secure financial transaction records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for seamless operations
- Monitor lobby activity and respond to emergency situations calmly
- Prepare nightly reports and maintain detailed shift documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Strong proficiency with PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Amadeus)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to cover weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of Virginia Beach attractions and services
- High school diploma or equivalent required
