Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth daily workflows and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations efficiently during the night shift, including check-in, check-out, and registration processes.
- Greet patients and visitors with a professional, welcoming demeanor and direct them to the appropriate departments.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, paging staff, and managing voicemail.
- Monitor building security, including access control and visitor logs, to ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain accurate records of patient visits, demographics, and insurance information in the electronic health record system.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing mail.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a front desk, reception, or hospitality role is highly desirable.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (including weekends and holidays).
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a quiet, fast-paced environment.
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
