Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and key management.
- Monitor building security systems and conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure guest safety.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries regarding amenities, directions, and local services.
- Process payments, prepare nightly reports, and reconcile cash drawers accurately.
- Assist guests with luggage storage, wake-up calls, and any special requests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the lobby, reception area, and common spaces.
- Collaborate with day staff to ensure a seamless handover of guest information and room status.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a front desk, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and POS systems.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
