Responsibilities
- Front Desk Operations: Check guests in and out efficiently using the hotel Property Management System (PMS), manage reservations, and process payments accurately.
- Guest Relations: Provide exceptional service to guests during the quiet hours, answering inquiries, and resolving any issues to ensure a restful stay.
- Night Security: Conduct regular security rounds of the hotel premises, lobby, and parking areas to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
- Housekeeping Coordination: Liaise with the housekeeping team to ensure rooms are prepared for morning arrivals and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Administrative Tasks: Balance daily shift reports, prepare bank deposits, and maintain accurate logs of wake-up calls and special requests.
- Building Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting of in-room amenities and lighting systems.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or night audit roles.
- Availability: Must be available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with computers and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Professionalism: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
